A skill is a saved set of instructions for work you repeat, for example drafting an investment committee memo from a CIM and a management presentation. Aracor ships with built-in skills, and you can add your own for the way your team works.
Run a skill in a conversation
There are two ways to pick one:
Click the Skills button in the toolbar under the message box.
Type / at the start of the message box to open the same picker and filter as you type.
Choose a skill, add any detail it needs, and send.
Create a skill by talking to Aracor Partner
You do not need to go to a settings page. In any conversation, ask Aracor Partner to create a skill and describe what you want it to do.
From there it is a normal conversation. You can go back and forth on the details, and you can attach the material that shows Aracor what good looks like:
Example work product, such as a memo or a report in the format you want
A playbook or house style guide
An entire folder of past work product, so the skill learns from more than one example
Refine it until you are happy, then save it.
Create a skill from Settings
You can also start from Settings > Customization. Answer What should this skill do? in a sentence or two, then click Continue in chat, which drops you into the same conversation flow described above. You need a project selected first, because the conversation that builds the skill runs inside a project.
Where skills live
Open Settings > Customization to see every skill available to you, filtered by scope:
Built-in: skills Aracor provides
Workspace: skills shared with everyone in your workspace
Your personal skills, which only you can run
Import a skill you already have
If you have written a skill or prompt elsewhere, import it instead of starting over. Aracor accepts:
A Claude or agent skill (SKILL.md)
A Claude skill export (.zip)
A ChatGPT Custom GPT config
A Markdown or plain text document
Turn on Share with workspace during import to make the skill available to your whole team rather than only to you.
Edit or delete a skill
Open the skill from Settings > Customization to edit its instructions or delete it. Built-in skills cannot be edited or deleted.
