Supported file types
Documents: PDF (.pdf), Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx, .ppsx), CSV (.csv), plain text (.txt)
Images: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, TIFF, TIF, BMP
Email: .eml, .msg
Size limits
Maximum size: 2 GB per file. Files larger than this are rejected with an "Exceeds 2 GB limit" error.
If your file is too large, try splitting it into smaller files or compressing it before upload.
Files Aracor cannot process
Some files are rejected even when the format is on the list above:
Password-protected or encrypted files. Aracor has no way to decrypt them. This includes encrypted files inside a connected SharePoint folder: they will not sync, and they cannot be uploaded manually either. Remove the protection, then add the file again.
Corrupted files. The file cannot be opened for text extraction.
These files show an Ineligible status on the Documents page and are excluded from the available-document counts.
