Trace a finding back to the source

How citations in Deal Verifier link back to the original clause in the underlying document.

Written by Jona Smulders Cohen

Every term and every flag in Deal Verifier comes with citations. A citation is the bridge from a finding back to the exact text in the original document.

  1. In the results, click any citation chip (for example, "Purchase Agreement, Page 5").

  2. A side-by-side preview opens. The cited passage is highlighted in the original document.

  3. Scroll, zoom, or click to a different citation to navigate. The preview supports PDF, DOCX, images, spreadsheets, text, and email files.

If you disagree with what Deal Verifier extracted, the citation tells you exactly where it came from so you can verify and decide.
