Find, rename, and delete conversations

Browse conversations grouped by date in the project sidebar, rename or delete the ones you own, and find what teammates shared with you.

Written by Jona Smulders Cohen

Conversations live in the project sidebar, under the Aracor Partner heading. As soon as you select a project, its conversations show up there.

Browse

The sidebar lists every conversation in the active project. The most recent conversations appear at the top of each group. Switch projects in the project switcher and the list updates to show that project's conversations.

Open

Click any conversation in the list to open it.

Rename

  1. Hover the conversation in the sidebar.

  2. Click the pencil icon that appears on the right.

  3. Type the new name and press Enter. Press Esc to cancel.

You can only rename conversations you own. The pencil icon doesn't appear on a conversation someone else shared with you.

Delete

  1. Hover the conversation.

  2. Click the trash icon.

  3. Confirm in the dialog. Deletion is permanent.

If you delete the conversation you're currently in, Aracor opens a fresh empty one in the same project.

You can only delete conversations you own. To stop seeing a conversation that was shared with you, ask the owner to remove your access.

Shared with me

Conversations shared with you by other people appear in a separate Shared with me section at the bottom of the sidebar, with a count badge for unread items. Click the section header to expand or collapse the list. This section is independent of the active project, so shared items show up regardless of which project you have selected.

Empty conversations

A conversation you opened but never sent a message in shows as New conversation while you're in it, then disappears from the list once you switch away. The next time you start a new conversation in the same project, that empty slot is reused so the sidebar doesn't fill up with placeholders.
