Most teams should sync from a cloud drive. If your documents live in SharePoint or another cloud drive, connect it once and Aracor stays in sync as files are added or updated. See Connect SharePoint to sync files.

Use direct upload when you have files or folders on your computer that you want to bring into Aracor as a one-time copy.

You can drop multiple files at once. Aracor preserves your folder structure when you upload a folder. For accepted formats and size limits, see Supported file types and size limits.

If the document is already somewhere in your workspace, choose Add from library instead of uploading it a second time. See Use the workspace library.

While Aracor is working, a progress ring appears in the app header. It follows you around the app, so you can leave the Documents page and still see how the batch is doing.

The ring shows one stage at a time:

Click the ring to open Upload and sync status and see the individual files. When everything finishes, the ring shows a brief check and then fades away.

If you try to close the tab while an upload is still in flight, your browser will warn you first.

Sync failures do not appear in the ring. To find those, open Cloud Sync on the Documents page. See When a file does not sync, and how to retry.

Uploading is only the first step. Each document then moves through text extraction and indexing before Aracor can answer questions about it, and it becomes available once it reaches Indexing. You do not have to wait for the whole batch. See Why can't Aracor find or read a document?
