Most teams should sync from a cloud drive. If your documents live in SharePoint or another cloud drive, connect it once and Aracor stays in sync as files are added or updated. See Connect SharePoint to sync files.
Use direct upload when you have files or folders on your computer that you want to bring into Aracor as a one-time copy.
Upload from your computer
Go to Documents.
Click Add Documents, then choose Upload files.
Drag your files into the upload zone, click Browse files to pick from your computer, or click Select a folder to upload an entire folder structure.
You can drop multiple files at once. Aracor preserves your folder structure when you upload a folder. For accepted formats and size limits, see Supported file types and size limits.
What happens after upload
The status footer at the bottom of the Documents page shows progress through each stage: Uploading, then Processing (extraction and indexing). For large batches you will see file counts (for example, "Processing 45 of 100 files"). Documents become available for verification and search as soon as processing finishes.
Direct upload vs. cloud sync
Direct upload. A one-time copy. Updating the file on your computer later doesn't change the version in Aracor. Re-upload to refresh.
Cloud sync. Aracor mirrors the source folder. Adds, edits, and deletions in the cloud drive flow into Aracor automatically.
